For anyone interested in watching the Irish of Oslo march through Oslo City Centre in all shades of green,
here are the details of today's event which starts at 13.00 at Jernbanetorget.
The sun is shining, which takes slightly from the authenticity of the occasion. REAL St Patrick's Days parades are characterized by rain and freezing Irish dancers; in Oslo we'll just have to make do with the latter.

But St Patrick's day isn't until Wednesday?
You're absolutely right Dot, but as wednesday is a normal working day in Norway, the parade was held at the weekend to maximize the number of people who could get involved.
Btw, are you going to replace/rename your blog when you move from Norway?
Will definitely blog about the move and our new destination. Have convinced myself that at least moving will give me something to blog about! Have already run a few titles through my mind - Nutty in Nigeria, Never Bored in Borneo - but don't think we're going to either of these places now. Should know before Easter where we're going, then all suggestions for a new title will be welcome. Right now the future is looking tropical but the decision is out of our hands so can't say anything more specific yet.
