Yesterday my daughter said that one of her friends told her that it was going to snow today. Of course I explained that it was going to be colder that it has been recently, and that it may snow on higher ground, but that I didn't really think we were going to see snow on May 17th. Mommy's wrong, yet again. Last weekend it was 30 degrees C on the terrace, today the sky is white and there are definitely some flakes of snow in the rain. Nothing's open, there's no newspaper, and everyone is off visiting relatives - it's like Christmas day but without the presents, the turkey and Cadbury's Roses.
