Geez, it's all snow snow snow and more snow over there. Weird, cuz' I just went for a nice long run yesterday in two thin layers and a ball cap. Yey steamy, warm gulf stream!
In other news--you live in the house with the red door! That's so American Beauty. And I'm soooo jealous!
Caroline - it's actually not as cold has it has been but very wet and very very inconvenient for driving. Heath - it's the first year since moving here that we haven't booked a holiday somewhere warm, as we thought we'd be moving to somewhere warm, but we're not and now look... JEDA - if it wasn't for the door, you might think the photos were greyscale. Oh send me some of that gulf stream, please!
Hate to break it to you, but Oslo's not really got much snow at all compared to Northern Norway. Up here we think of you Oslo folks as weak and spoiled...
Thanks for dropping by Anonymous. Have you been to Oslo (Baerum) lately? These pictures are two months old and show only the start of the snow. I look at these myself and think, wow, I didn't know what real snow was back then. Still, I'm sure it's worse up North...

Geez, I think I get your point: You need a holiday somewhere warmer. Much warmer!

Elly - the novelty has worn off for us, I'm afraid. Nearly bought a property in Turkey a few years ago but got cold feet, which is kind of ironic!
i understand Johanna. of course it is nice 4 or 5 times in a year, i am sure i get tired of it. where was the property?in which city?
Elly - it was in Bodrum.
Bodrum, it is really very nice city...maybe in the future, you can consider again..

Yeah, I've been to Oslo just last week. Lots of snow by Oslo standards, a somewhat less than a normal run-of-the-mill winter by Tromsø standards.
