An unlikely tail

This morning I was helping out at my five-year-old’s pre-school. I was chatting to a group of three-year-olds about the fact that people don’t have tails while many animals do, when one particularly adorable cherub gazed up at me and insisted that this wasn’t true. ‘My Daddy has a tail’, she said, ‘he pees out of it’. I may never be able to look the man in the eye again and keep a straight face.

OMG!! hahahaha
You see this is why I don't have children. They will spill all sorts of embarrassing things (not that peeing out of your tail is necessarily embarrassing but you know what I mean).

Out of the mouths of babes. Such cuteness!

Anyone see that rather disturbing prog about child genius on Ch 4 last night? That little Georgia Brown kid will haunt me. The mother is clearly OTT and a bit bonkers. Just let them be kids, I say. Like that little cutie above!

WRW, I'm afraid I don't get Channel 4 or any English-language television other than BBC World so missed that programme but perhaps I'm glad I did. My seven-year-old told me the other day that she'd much rather have people tell her she's cute than smart, so obviously we're going the pushy pangeant queen mother route!
