Today, we had our first few flakes of snow which is otherwise code for "it's time to dismantle the trampoline, hide the lightweight flashing light shoes so beloved of the young princesses and psyche oneself up for months of short days, long nights and the constant presence of wet gloves, socks and boots drying on the heated bathroom floor". Sigh! You'd think after three years, I'd have given up raging against the weather but I can't help myself. I HATE it! Here's to five months of sensible shoes.
