New Year, New Camera

I took the picture below from the upstairs balcony and almost froze my ass off in the process. I plan to capture this vista at least once a month to record the changing seasons up this hill we live on. No matter what the weather it's always breath-takingly beautiful and I regularily take this access to beauty for granted. More than the beauty, it's the sense of space living here offers that is the gift. It's in such stark contrast to the density of population in Manila where we lived before that I sometimes imagine that another version of me is still living over there in a parallel universe.
